NOV 25, 2017 - Mount Agung eruption occurred at 17:30 WITA. The gray columns are medium-grayish-blackish-gray as high as 1500 m above the peak of Mount Agung.

MT. AGUNG VOLCANO EVACUATION EMERGENCY RESPONSE
September 24, 2017: As of September 22, 2017 8:30pm (GMT+8) Mount Agung, located on Bali, Indonesia was raised to an alert level 4 of 4 (eminent eruption). We have started a fund to support the 140,000+ (updated as of Oct 1) local villagers who have been evacuated from their homes. Emergency authorities in Bali are struggling to provide enough clean water and amenities for thousands of evacuees from villages close to the Mount Agung volcano that is threatening to erupt for the first time in more than half a century. Supplies needed that donations will supply: food, water, tents, tarps, mosquito repellent, medicines, masks, hygiene kits including buckets, soap, shampoo, toothpaste, sanitary pads, diapers as well as food, sleeping mats, blankets and Nazava water filters and cups to families affected by the volcano’s increasing activity. All funds donated will be appropriated to organizations working directly with the communities including Kopernik, Bumi Sehat & Red Cross. *Please note if or when Mount Agung erupts the repercussions on the island may be detrimental to the locals for some time. We will keep you undated here with the latest news. *KOPERNIK & SYRV are 501(c)(3) registered non profit organizations.
